Happy Birthday Dakota. The night before Dakota's birthday the birthday fairies came to decorate. Minnie Mouse was the theme of choice thanks to Sierra's advice.
Dakota seemed to really like the decorations. Momma tells me she is the first little Foy who liked to wear the birthday hats!
She even liked the Minnie Mouse ears. My baby sister is just too cute!
With the decorations and guest of honor ready - the party goers all showed up. It was a full family house for Dakota's first birthday. Vito's was the lunch of choice again. It is always a favorite with the Foy's under 4 feet...
Then it was time for the main event - CAKE! Daddy - thought Dakota was going to try to blow the candles out - but Dakota was all about getting her hands into the icing!
Then Sierra showed me how to truly enjoy my first piece of chocolate cake! I'm not sure Dakota "enjoyed" it as much as Sierra - but she did her best.
Then it was on to the presents. With all the unwrapping that needed to be done, Sierra and I gave Dakota a hand. Dakota loved the present I picked out for her. She played with the car for the rest of the party.
The ball blowing elephant was a great hit with Connor and Dakota.
I was so proud of my baby sister on her birthday!
She started the day the last baby...
But she ended the day a big girl! Happy Birthday little sis.
