Sierra Week 52 - Happy Birthday Sierra 1 Year Old Part 1

Happy Birthday to my little sister Sierra!  This week she turned 1 year old.  We had a pre-birthday celebration at Gigi and PopPop's house earlier in the week.  Since Sierra and cousin Devon's birthdays are so close together the two families decided on one big party.  A special thanks to Gigi and PopPop for hosting!

Momma, Daddy, Sierra and I made to to Gigi and PopPop's in time to help Uncle Sean, Aunt Jo and Devon to hang up all the decorations.  The balloons were a great hit!

Once the decorations were all up and the family had arrived it was time to open presents.  Leave it to Devon and Sierra to find a new and unique way to enjoy their presents - "Present Diving" anyone?

But Sierra did end up getting into the swing of things tearing open her presents.

But the real fun came with the cake!  Everyone gathered round to sing "Happy Birthday" to the birthday girls.

Then Daddy helped Sierra to blow out the candles on her cake.

With the formalities out of the way it was time to eat cake!  Sierra enjoyed every little bit she could reach - either eating, throwing or rubbing it in.  She even managed to get a piece in Great Gramma's hair!

A special thanks from Sierra to everyone who was able to make it.  It was a fun family event.  Hope to see you all next year!
